The goal of NE-CNS is to serve as the voice of CNSs across the region, to elevate the visibility and value of the CNS, and to advocate for issues pertaining to the CNS practice.

While specialty professional organizations support the specific clinical needs within a specialty area, NE-CNS supports the professional needs of CNSs across all practice areas. NE-CNS believes that all CNSs should be members of their professional specialty organization and their Regional and national CNS organizations.
