Overview

Location: Landmark Medical Center

Department: Medical/Surgical Unit

Assignment Duration: Approximately 12 weeks

Status: Temporary / Full-Time (3x12 schedule)

Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Shift: Night Shift – 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.

Landmark Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical Unit for a temporary 12-week assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a tenured RN currently working in the Medical/Surgical specialty who is looking to earn extra income while contributing to a high-performing and compassionate care team.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN provides direct patient care, communicates with physicians regarding changes in condition, and ensures adherence to clinical and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical Unit.
  • Conduct assessments and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to patient condition changes.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with hospital policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Uphold infection control and safety protocols in all aspects of care.

Qualifications

These are all Requirements of this role:

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Ventilator management experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of consistent, full-time Medical/Surgical experience.
  • Must currently be working in the Medical/Surgical specialty.
