RI Nurse Licensure Compact!

Posted about 2 years ago by Justin Di Libero

Hi Everyone,

Please see the below message regarding the RI Nurse Licensure Compact. We have gained good momentum and believe this is the year for RI Nurses! Please consider reaching out to your legislators, and pass this message along to as many of your colleagues as you can!

Bring Back the Compact: We Need Your Help!

Dear valued RISNA member/partner/supporter,

Since 2018, RISNA has been working to bring back the Nurse Licensure Compact to Rhode Island.

For the first time in five years, we are seeing some small signs of the legislature being reconsidered.

This Tuesday, June 6th, House Bill #H5737 will be heard for consideration to be voted out of committee to be then posted on the House calendar for passage. Now, we are looking to push Senate Bill #S0275 out of the Senate HHS Committee. We need your help to urge Senate President Dominic Ruggerio and Senator Josh Miller to consider Bill #S0275!

Please click here to send a letter to your legislators asking for their support of the NLC!
